1.Don’t Peel or Pick at Edges

Tip: Never try to remove dirt stuck at PPF edges by pulling or scratching.
Best for: Car owners who spot debris near film corners or seams.

Why: Picking at the film can cause it to lift or bubble, weakening the bond and exposing the paint. Always wash or let a professional handle it.

2. Don’t Use Wax with Abrasives

Tip: Avoid waxes or polishes that contain abrasive compounds or harsh solvents.
Best for: DIY detailers and car owners using off-the-shelf products.

Why: These can wear down the top coat of the film, reducing clarity, gloss, and self-healing properties. Stick to PPF-safe products only.

3. Don’t Forget to Check Edges After Every Wash

Tip: Gently inspect the edges and corners after every wash or rain.
Best for: Anyone with full or partial PPF coverage—especially on bumpers, hoods, or mirrors.

Why: Water pressure and heat can weaken the adhesive over time. Catching early signs of lifting means easier repairs and longer film life.
