Even the best Paint Protection Film (PPF) needs a little smart care to last longer and perform at its best. Whether you've recently installed a full-body wrap or just partial coverage, today’s tips will help you get more life and value out of it.

Let’s make sure your car stays as fresh as Day 1.

1. Don’t Use Automatic Car Washes

Yes, those spinning brushes might be quick—but they’re rough on PPF.

Best for:

  • People who want to maintain the clarity and edges of their PPF

  • Owners of luxury or dark-colored vehicles (which show swirl marks easily)

Instead, go for hand washing or touchless systems. This reduces friction and prevents the film from lifting at corners or edges.

2. Use PH-Balanced Cleaners Only

Regular household cleaners or harsh degreasers can damage the film’s top coat.

Best for:

  • DIY car enthusiasts

  • People washing their cars weekly

PH-neutral shampoos designed for wrapped cars are your best bet. They clean without stripping the self-healing layer or causing discoloration over time.

3. Avoid Parking Under Trees or AC Drains

Tree sap, bird droppings, and dripping AC water can stain or etch the PPF.

Best for:

  • Daily drivers

  • City parkers or residents in coastal areas

If you can’t find a covered spot, consider a foldable windshield cover or quick-clean spray to remove contaminants before they settle in.
