DAY 02 FOR PPF TIPS

 

Welcome back to Day 02 of our PPF tips series! If you’ve recently installed paint protection film or are planning to, these quick pointers will help you get the most out of it.

Tip 1: Don’t Wash Your Car Right Away

After applying PPF, let it settle in. Avoid washing your car for at least 7 days. This gives the film time to fully stick to the paint and prevents edges from lifting.

Tip 2: Hands Off the Edges

We get it—it’s tempting to press down on a bubble or smooth out a corner. But don’t worry! Tiny bubbles or dust under the film often disappear on their own after a few days. Try not to touch or mess with the edges.

Tip 3: Use the Right Detail Spray

Want that clean shine between washes? Use a PPF-safe spray. These products are gentle, won’t damage the film, and help keep that glossy look without leaving streaks or residue.

Welcome back to Day 04 of our PPF tips series! 1. Don’t Wash the Car for At Least 5–7 Days PPF needs time to fully bond and cure. Washing it too soon—even with just water—can weaken the edges or cause lifting and bubbling. Best for: Protecting a fresh install Ensuring long-term adhesion Avoiding edge failure 2. Don’t Park Under Direct Sun Immediately After Application While PPF is heat-resistant, extreme UAE sunlight can interfere with curing in the first 24–48 hours. Shade is your friend.
